For Teachers:
Making a graphic novel is a lot of work, with lots of different steps! More often than not, a single artist is tasked with doing many of those. When you teach a graphic novel, remember to give the artists credit and analyze how their step(s) in the process helped tell the story.
If you enjoy a comic, I encourage you to look up all the illustrators, colorists and designers and see what else they have done! It’s a great way to find more comics you will enjoy.
Here is a great resource for understanding comics devices!
